God Hu
The chief God of “authoritative declarations,” is closely connected with the solar god Ra and with Sia, the personification of knowledge.
He was the passion of the first word, the word of creation that Atum was said to have exclaimed upon ejaculating.
He was represented in human shape, as a falcon, or as a man with a ram’s head, and alternatively, his circumcision, in his masturbatory act of producing the world.
He was mentioned already in the old kingdom illustrations as the mate of the deceased Pharaoh.
Together with Sia, he was demonstrated in the attendants of Thoth with whom he was also occasionally appointed.
